The Kensington is my go to hotel while traveling in Seoul. Located on a beautiful tree lined street in Yeouido, right next to the Han River. Lots of things close by, including an easy to use subway stop. The hotel itself is beautiful, high end design, clean, and very comfortable beds. The showers have immaculate water pressure and rooms all have bidets. Employees are always professional and friendly. On this particular stay I was helped by a Ms. Kim Bohyun, she went out of her way to help me some questions I had about the local area and a late checkout. Her genuine care and assistance will ensure I continue to stay at the Kensington on all my visits to Seoul.

Stayed one night with happy hour dinner, and breakfast, my friend and I really enjoyed a lot. First off, the deluxe queen on the 13th floor was not as spacious as I thought, and poor managing with broken faucet, loose facilities, an empty fridge, no coffee machine made me a little bit disappointed, but the bathtub was new. Second, the happy hour dinner at The View was affordable but good choices wine even though the meal itself was not high quality of food, some frozen, no beef choice, just some basic salads, pastas, desserts, and poor charcuterie. However we really enjoyed the affordable meal with wines. Third of all, the breakfast at the Broadway was much better, having American cuisines, Korean, and two nice coffee machines. I really liked the porridges: pumpkin, mushrooms, seaweed, and abalone that was bland. However I enjoyed the breakfast with the people around the world. Getting down to the lobby myself to get the scissors instead of bringing them up by the staffs, no wonderful hangang views, but I stayed at the hotel room for staycation, relax and chatting away without stress on affordable price. Walking distance from the hangang, and the Hyundai and IFC. There’s a bus station in front of hotel to go to the airport.

Stayed in one of Executive King River view rooms for 2 nights. Airport limousine bus stops right in front of the hotel, which made my trip much more convenient. Enjoyed very much of the breakfast buffet in the lobby floor. It was a little pity that the view from the room was half church view. The bathroom and linens were spotless clean. Yeouido CBD is walking distance, and subway line 9 is about 5 minutes away. I was looking for a nice cafe nearby, and one of the staff recommended one in the National Assembly. It was one of the best places I've visited in Seoul.
