Holiday Inn Express Portage

We would stay here again if in the area. The only problem was one that should be corrected by now. We were on the 3rd (members' floor) and the call button did not work. There was a sign to call the desk and they would have someone send it up. We were on the front of the hotel and there was some street noise in the afternoon and early evening, but had no problems later,

Quite pricey for the middle of nowhere (we had a bit of sticker shock), but maybe that was because it seems to be the best option around there. It was clean and comfortable, with nice beds and good water temperature and pressure in the shower, and the breakfast was not bad at all. The workout room was decent (though the air conditioning was out in there) and several kids seemed to be enjoying the pool. Also, the staff was super friendly and helpful. I actually left something in the room by accident and they helped ship it to me, which was great.

Excellent Experience! The lobby and dining area were beautifully decorated for fall. Everyone from front desk to room attendants were all so friendly and accommodating! Very nice clean rooms thanks to the hard-working room attendants. Beds were also very comfortable. Would definitely recommend Holiday Inn in Portage IN. for your next stay.
