**Should I book in for a skydive at the beginning or end of my trip?** * Definitely the beginning!!! The reason being is should the weather not be suitable on the first day of your trip, we can then move you to alternative days. Always book air excursions first, then land and water based activities last **How long do I freefall?** * You will freefall for up to 60 seconds **How fast do I free fall?** * The maximum speed is about 200kph!! **How long is the flight?** * It takes about 15 minutes to reach altitude **What type of planes are they?** * We have 2 of the largest skydiving planes available, the Supervan 900, which can hold up to 9 tandems so groups of friends can stay together **I wear prescription glasses, do I have to take them off for my skydive?** * No! We have goggles that will fit over your glasses. **What about your safety record?** * Over 30 years of experience and more than 350,000 completed tandem skydives **How do I get there?** * Our meeting point is our Skydive Centre in the middle of town in Queenstown, from there we will take you to and from the Dropzone where you skydive **Do you allow spectators?** * Providing we have enough space in our buses we can take spectators for free. This won't be guaranteed and only available at the time of the trip. They are welcome to drive themselves to watch though **Can I take my camera on the plane with me?** * No, this is due to safety reasons, but you can take photos on the ground while getting ready. We do offer Video and Photo packages, which can be purchased on the day **Can I drive to the Queenstown drop zone myself?** * Yes you can, but you will still need to check in at the NZONE Skydive Centre for the briefing and then they will give you directions
What To Bring
* You will be provided with a jumpsuit, hat, goggles and gloves, so all you need to wear are warm layers and flat and enclosed shoes. If you wear glasses, we have goggles that fit over the top

* Maximum weight is 115kg. All persons over 94kg are subject to Tandem Master assessment at the drop zone * Minimum jump age is 6 years. Children 12 years & under will be permitted to skydive from a maximum height of 9,000ft * The minimum weight is 40kgs/88lbs and minimum height is 1.2metres/47.2inches. All passengers must fit securely into the harness * All children are subject to an assessment on the day by the Tandem Master. Passengers under 18 years require written parental/guardian consent * Check in the same time as the trip (the time you have selected to jump) * Weather checks are to be done by the passenger upon check in and not before. Please be aware that skydiving is a very weather dependant activity and cancellations due to unsuitable weather conditions may occur, full refunds will be given if this occurs * If weather conditions are not favourable at NZONE Skydive, Queenstown, there is an option to transfer to Skydive Southern Alps, Glenorchy or Skydive Wanaka, Wanaka, at no additional cost (subject to availability)

Safety briefing and personalized instruction are provided. All outerwear equipment is supplied, including jumpsuit, helmet, goggles, and gloves. Round-trip shuttle service is available from the town center meeting point to the drop zone. Goggles are available that can be worn over prescription glasses. Photo and video packages are available for purchase on the day of the skydive (not included in the package).

Maximum weight limit is 115 kg. Individuals weighing over 94 kg will require assessment by a Tandem Master at the drop zone. Minimum age for skydiving is 6 years old. Children aged 12 or younger are permitted to skydive from a maximum altitude of 9,000 feet. Minimum weight is 40 kg and minimum height is 1.2 meters; all jumpers must fit securely into the harness. Jumpers under 18 years old must have written consent from a parent or guardian. It is advisable to book this activity early in your trip to allow for rescheduling if weather conditions are unfavorable. Wear warm clothing and flat, enclosed shoes. Personal cameras are not permitted on the aircraft for safety reasons, but photos can be taken on the ground. The activity is weather-dependent. If weather conditions are unsuitable, it may be canceled with a full refund, or you may choose to transfer to Skydive Southern Alps, Glenorchy, or Skydive Wanaka, Wanaka, at no additional cost.
