Hotel Restaurant Mirtil

Hotel location is excellent- literally a minute’s walk to the slopes and Sacha very welcoming. However, our triple room looked nothing like any of the photos shown by the host on here! The room was tired and very basic. The bathroom was dirty & also very tired (I cleaned it before use). Breakfast was a basic buffet but decent and our half board evening meal was always very welcome after a day on the slopes.

We were 4 old men sharing a room. One DOUBLE bed and two singles. Three coat hangers each and one wardrobe, one shelf each and nothing else. Toilet sliding door that was broken and remained open all week with just a curtain for privacy. It was never fixed despite daily assurances ( like a change of room that never happened). The breakfast was NOT wonderful and varied as indicated in other reviews. We had a cooked breakfast every day of baked beans and scrambled egg. The warmer was broken so every 10 minutes or so the food was taken out to the kitchen to be reheated and brought back. There was a toaster, some jam, meat and cheese and croissants. Same every morning. The evening meals were edible but not spectacular - eg one Catalan sausage, baked beans and rice. The boot room was too narrow and struggled if numbers went above 4. The one good point is the hotel is really close to the lifts The photos the hotel displays bear little or no resemblance to what you actually experience whether it is the room, restaurant layout or the food. Worst hotel experience in Pas I’ve ever had.

Small toilet with glazed glass no curtains Wardrobe with 2 shelves and hanging space Dispenser for shower gel and hand soap No kettle or tea making facilities Room safe we couldn’t get to work We had a hairdryer not everyone had a hairdryer in their room Food Breakfast normal choices for continental Baked beans, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, toast Same every day Coffee machine Evening meal you have to choose for the week in advance Generally ok Beer 5.€ a large beer Close to the slopes only a 5 minute walk
