Lake Placid 3000

Rating: 1/10 Review: We stayed in a studio apartment for two people at Lake Placid Apartments and found the conditions unacceptable. The apartment was filthy on arrival, with visible mould on the walls and ceiling, a strong damp smell, and dirty, unpleasant blankets. There were clumps of human hair in both the shower and the sink, and the floor was not clean. The space was extremely cramped, with no practical room to store or dry ski gear. The ongoing dampness and smell made the apartment very uncomfortable, and we ultimately left one week early because we could not tolerate the conditions. We would never stay here again and cannot recommend this accommodation.

Very noisy, it is not possible to rest a night followed by the noise of other guests. Hot boiler water, the last person always took a cold water bath. The electric frame goes down if you turn on all the heating, there were temperatures of -10 on the street. I won't repeat. Only the location is positive.

Worst place I’ve ever stayed hands down. The blankets and sheets were filthy, the blanket on one of the beds actually had brown stains on it.. how can a maid make a bed and leave it like that! The beds were uncomfortable and I thought the top bunk was going to collapse. No ladder to get up there either wtf and it was really tall! The bathroom had no extractor, the shower head kept falling off the wall. Every item generally at its worst... i think other guests felt the same. The Main hallway and the actual room smelt awful like rotten boiling cabbage or something. Generally terrible nights sleep... everyone got ill by the end of the trip. We actually wanted to move out after the first night but everywhere was fully booked. Do yourself a favour and spend a bit more to stay elsewhere. I hate having to count the time down on holiday to the day you can go home... but i would say it is very close to the slopes which was nice and I can not fault Andorra as a resort.. just this place is a tip. In summary, if you like cheap, disgusting and smelly places to stay this is probably right up your street.
