Loved the look of this grand, older hotel and the front desk people were good especially our first day arriving. Also the woman who tended the little bar later at night, which was a nice bonus to the hotel. Their buffet breakfast was amazing served in a very grand room, sad they don't use it otherwise. It's in a good location, had a well sized shower/tub (but tiny sink), nice towels and bedding, and was a good price.
However, I didn't realize what an interior room meant when I booked it. Pretty small size and the one little window in there did NOT give any circulation. It got very stuffy and made for bad sleep. Early April was too early for them to turn on the AC so we were just stuck with crappy sleep for our two nights there. They gave us a wonky fan which helped a little but it was rough at night. My own fault I guess for not looking into that more, would recommend everything else about the hotel
