St. Gothard

Excellent location and with a varied and complete buffet. Special mention to the staff for their unbeatable treatment, always kind and attentive.

Overall a very good hotel to disconnect with the family but... maybe a renovation wouldn't hurt (it would raise the price, though). We were going with a 4-year-old child and a 6-month-old baby. For the child, the playroom and the minigolf were super good. The problem was getting to the room with the stroller because there are stairs. In general, I wouldn't say it is adapted for strollers; the elevators are very, very tight and you have to juggle to get in with the stroller. The food was acceptable, generally very well cooked, but a grill was missed. The staff was charming and very willing to help. I would recommend it with these caveats.

We took a trip with the CAM as a group. We were assigned room 6101, the top floor attic with roof windows, which made it unbearably hot; the air conditioning did not work, we had a super crappy fan, two super small beds, one of them against a wall, so if you wanted to get in or out of bed you had to climb over the other person; every night we separated the bed to the center of the room, which was very small, to be able to go to bed (due to the room conditions we think it was a single room); the towel and other amenities were for only one person. We went down to the front desk to comment that we were not satisfied with the room they had assigned us to see if they could change it, and they completely ignored us; we insisted one day and another day, and they paid no attention to us. We mentioned it to the other travel companions, and apparently their rooms were in better condition; we even saw one, and it was so. For more information we went to use the hair dryer and it caught fire, it is true that we mentioned it and they did not install another one for us. To be a hotel considered four stars, I think at least two should be dropped.. Positive: the pool and the surroundings
