St. James's Club & Villas

Having spent thousands on a family holiday for 4 we’ve just got back and were all so disappointed. We booked for 12 nights but by day 8 we couldn’t wait to leave. Food was average, rooms were average, amenities were average - the cafe was shut for the whole of our stay. Everything was just very tired looking, even the towels in our bathrooms were frayed, mismatched and old looking! But by far the worst aspect were the staff. They ranged from looking like they couldn’t really bothered to downright rude. One bar staff member (Delisha) took a full minute to ask what I wanted after standing at the bar while she continued an argument with another member of staff and when I had the audacity to ask if I could have lime segments she kissed her teeth at me, glared at me and told me that she was already in the process of doing this. Another member of staff at reception told me very snippily when I asked if there were spare room slippers as we hadn’t packed any (expecting we’d have them in the room) looked me up and down and asked what room we were then said “we only have slippers on the royal suites and YOU are not in those so you can’t have any” and walked off. Totally get the hotel policy but would have been much nicer if she’d said “sorry madam we morally only provide these in the royal suits but in this instance I’m sure we can find some for you”??!! Would not go back and would not recommend. Such a shame as it was once a fabulous place.

Had a wonderful stay at St. James Club & Villas. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well maintained, with excellent amenities. The staff were friendly and always helpful. Special thanks to Riaan for his kindness, and support. I truly appreciated the hospitality and would happily recommend this place.

My wife and I stayed at St. James’s Club & Villas during the first week of July 2026, and our experience was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, relaxed and completely removed from the stress of everyday life. The resort is beautifully situated on a private peninsula, surrounded by stunning Caribbean scenery and two lovely white-sand beaches. We especially enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, the warm turquoise water and the feeling of having so much space to relax. There was always something to do, whether it was enjoying the swimming pools, relaxing on the beach, trying the water sports or simply sitting with a cold drink and admiring the view. The variety of restaurants and bars was also impressive, and we loved being able to enjoy different meals and settings throughout our stay. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming, and they made us feel genuinely valued as guests. The service, beautiful surroundings and all-inclusive facilities made our holiday feel effortless and special. This was more than just a holiday for us—it was quality time together in one of the most beautiful settings we have ever visited. We returned home with wonderful memories and would happily recommend St. James’s Club & Villas to couples, families and anyone looking for a relaxing Caribbean getaway. We would definitely love to return.
