I was going to write a review that wasn’t very complimentary but I have to say that The Manager changed my opinion.
Our first impression wasn’t great as I checked in with no interest from the reception staff who had no English or even a piece of paper that helps explain the accommodation.
The elevator takes forever to get to your floor and being on the 4th was very slow - but hey - first world problem.
I found a channel with English speaking movies. The A/C worked until the morning and then started leaking water over the bed to the point I had to shuffle furniture and find buckets to capture the fast dripping water. It didn’t work again. Shower was good with lots of hot water. Bidet a bonus. Nice little sets of complementary shampoo etc. safe in wardrobe plus extra bedding. Despite asking for help with the A/C nothing happened.
New Year’s Eve comes and goes and at 2am I returned to the hotel and told the man at reception (the manager) about the A/C and he immediately gave us another room, made sure the room was to my satisfaction before leaving. Nice.
Breakfast the next morning was average. I got there at 10am and it was to finish at 11 but little left. I ate toast and had some juice.
The manager let me store my gear as I was leaving that day. He also gave us some glasses and ice for our Baileys Irish Creme.
the biggest downside was that there was no wifi and because of the timing of the holidays they couldn’t get anyone to fix it. So we had to walk to McDonald’s to get wifi.
Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. No real parking.
The day we left I was told that the place was closing - maybe for a makeover or renovation.

This hotel is perfectly located and very central to sites and amenities and may well have been a boutique hotel twenty or so years ago but today it needs a little love and a huge facelift. Rooms have plastic ‘wood’ floors, towels and bed linen threadbare and stained albeit clean.
Breakfast is average - a chocolate ce of ham, cheese, cereal, pastries and scrambled eggs but very basic and not the best continental breakfast I have ever had
After a long haul flight flight from Europe I arrived at the hotel at 09:00 and fortunately my room was ready which was great - but would I stay there again ? No.. you get what you pay for and this hotel is very very basic and needs a major refurbishment

We stayed here for two nights at the end of a cruise, as part of our package. Whilst the public areas were OK, our room, 302, can only be described as shabby. Wallpaper was peeling off the wall and was badly marked in places. The net curtains were grubby, as was the bedspread. Instead of the normal flat sheet on the bed, there were two - one started from the top of the bed, the other started from the bottom, and they overlapped in the middle. The spare pillow, which we used, was stained and didn't have a pillowcase. Part of the bathroom wall just below the ceiling had been replastered with something dark grey, but not repainted, and the bath was badly marked. There was no basin plug, no anti-slip mat and no bath mat. The toilet paper bin wasn't emptied. Breakfast was average, and the orange juice tasted like weak squash. The best thing about the hotel was its position, a few minutes' walk from Plaza Del Mayo.
