Matienzo Haus Hotel Boutique

I came to Buenos Aires first time in the end of March and most of our group was staying in another small hotel near by. I found this GEM on line by accident looking to be near the rest of the group. If you want to experience of being pampered and staying in real Mansion - this is it!!! We are tangeros and come to hotel at night all hours - sometimes 5 am - staff will personally open the entry door for us no matter what time!!! I travel a lot, but having delicious breakfast in the REAL dining room - was an experience only few places will offer. They even cooked eggs per our request! It's a family operated place and they are wonderful people and the house is spotless!!!!

We staid with the entire family in Casa Matienzo for Christmas and it was fantastic. Great location and with some rental bikes from Palermo easy to get around form. But the house seems to no have been dusted nor hoovered in a long long time and the dust was giving a few even some eye irritations (we went to fix the hoover and cleaned the floors ourselves but the house needs a bit more then that). Otherwise we recommend!
