Grand Hotel Santa Teresita

The hotel has a nice view, the cleanliness is very good, the breakfast is very good for the price, the staff is super attentive, the shower is incredible, the pool is very clean and well-maintained, at night the restaurant is very nice, it has a couple of simple but very tasty dishes, I didn't use the rest. The 1st day at the pool, a girl and her 3 creatures (I assume they were hers, although they didn't look like each other, nor the companion, another topic...) it seemed like they had been released into civilization and were in a heated pool for the first time, but their little heads didn't understand that there were other people they had to respect; the whole supposed family was screaming, the children were jumping in, splashing, hitting you with the ball, eating on the edge (there were signs saying it was prohibited, maybe they didn't know how to read, poor things... not everyone has the same luck). Several guests chose to go to a quieter place. In the afternoon, there was another small incident at the spa, and something else; the girl seemed resentful, she was constantly bullying, I don't know, maybe where she lives it's the only way to survive... They didn't fit in to share a stay with normal people. The thing is that this was made known to the hotel staff and luckily they took action immediately; because of the bad moments, they gifted us a dinner in addition to apologizing, and luckily the FAMILY left.

A real disaster. It was a nightmare stay. A post-war hotel. TV doesn't work The bathrooms are dirty and full of defects such as a clogged toilet, water leaks, dirty and patched bathtubs. In the bedrooms, the sheets are stained, the carpets are dirty, the walls have moisture stains and burst insects. I have never stayed in such a disastrous hotel in my life. Not even when I was a teenager. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AND I REGRET NOT HAVING DONE A LITTLE RESEARCH. The attention of the boys is very good but they have to stand up for a structure that is not their responsibility.

It is a real three stars. The current administration is trying to improve an old building and they are getting to it. First of all: location.View from the hotel is awesome. The sun setting and the morning are wonderful moments of the day you can enjoy while having a beer in the front lawn.or having your breakfast. You can walk to the beach and this is not as common as many could think in Mar del Plata. And the beach in this zone (Peralta Ramos) is one of the nicest of the city. Though crowded in January it is t a very long one, you can walk by the sea for hours if you like. One down:to go to Mar del Plata the best way is by car and parking place at the hotel is not as big as it should. Outside park is free but indoor´s one is not expensive. Again: very few places. The rooms are simple, Do not expect luxury but they are clean and bathrooms have been updated.No hair dryer. Much place in the cupboard but they could be updated. I must say that the water is very difficult to regulate: too cold or too hot. (We were a party of 39 people in several rooms and all of them had the same problem). Rooms are rather small but as a person who has keep going to Mar del Plata many times I could say they are the average size. Only two or three of them have AC. The others have a roof fan but many of them have a window looking to the sea, so at night you can lay on fresh air. TV are small ones and not many channels. Again I saw only one with a big screen. WiFi at the lobby and at the room. As I have written above we were a family party of 39 of different ages from my mother(84) to my nephew ( 8 months). Breakfast was served in a big table and though without many variations, the quality of the food was good. The same could be said of the restaurant's cuisine. In this case, it is necessary to improve variation but the chicken( when serve) is good as many of the entrees. My only complain is that they should have prepared everything in advance in order to avoid some lack of variation. Staff friendly and do the best they could to please their hosts. Playing room , a good idea for a seaside hotel, needs a tweak. So could be said of the lobby and of the small field in front of the hotel. Cinema room: different films all nights while staying there. Check-in and check out done with kindness. Everybody at the restaurant was kind and A place to have in mind if your aim is to enjoy the beach. A casino is 5 minutes walk. The hotel is not near downtown Mar del Plata so though Peralta Ramos is crowd of tourists during the day is very peaceful at night. The management show that he prefers to give a good service than to earn without moderation. A place to have in minf. We had a very pleasant week end.
