Hotel Pulitzer

We usually go to this hotel for work. On Thursday, June 4th, we were having dinner at the hotel restaurant when the power went out. The staff did not make things easy for us, and we had to beg for them to lend us a small lantern from the restaurant tables to use in the room. We assumed they had a generator, which the staff took too long to activate. Conclusion: we showered with cold water until it ran out. The worst part was that there were neither apologies nor any attention. Tomorrow we were supposed to return and we changed hotels.

Wonderful hotel. Very cosy room and very well decorated. Comfortable bed, lighting, everything very beautiful. Good bathroom. Full breakfast, spacious lounge, lots of food and quality. Great location in the city centre.

We spent two nights at the Hotel Pulitzer Buenos Aires. Positively noteworthy are definitely the very central location – many attractions, restaurants, and shopping options are easily accessible on foot – as well as the large rooms and comfortable beds. The staff was friendly and helpful during our stay. Unfortunately, the overall good impression was significantly affected by a strong drain smell in the room and partially also in the corridor. This was uncomfortable for us in the long run and ultimately the main reason why we would not book the hotel again. The breakfast was okay, but rather average. The breakfast room, lacking natural light, also felt somewhat gloomy. The view from our room on the 12th floor was also not very appealing. Overall, the hotel has some strengths, especially the location, but the odor issues were a clear downside for us. Therefore, we would rather give it 3 out of 5 points. Therefore, we would rate it 3 out of 5 points.
