I stayed three days.
Breakfast and its staff (kitchen) are a mess. Leave a lot to say, a really bad impression. There was no milk the first morning. They have almost no choice but celiac or flourless. For breakfast on the second day they had no fruit. Breakfast on the third day, they had no cheese or ham. They skimped on delivering a sachet of sugar or sweetener. It seems to me that if the breakfast schedule is two hours, you should ensure stock of commodities in that period. It happened to me that when I asked for breakfast they replied: "that's what there is, people eat a lot". During my stay I went to breakfast, NOT at the last minute. The third morning I suggested to the girl attending in the area that they check the calculation for the shopping list because it was all really scarce, she replied that that was not her job and turned around. I went to take my infusion to my table, when I stopped to retire I was intercepted by another kitchen assistant, introduced himself with the name Jonathan and rebuked me in a bad way, saying that if I wanted breakfast with options I had to go before the rest of the passengers. Your treatment was impolite throughout, I told you I don't want to talk to you and you followed me to the sensor door.
I didn't order anything crazy, I wanted to have a normal breakfast of lattes and some fruit. It was a bad experience.
If I was informed when I made my reservation that cable TV had not worked a week ago.
The room is basic, the photos are improved.
The positive is the location.
The treatment of the concierges is cordial.

The hotel is located in a very nice neighborhood, super centralized, close to supermarkets, cafes, shopping. I did a lot of things on foot, because really the location makes it a lot easier.
The hotel has a good cost benefit, I found the room spacious, the bed and comfortable pillows. The bathroom is also spacious, has a bathtub and shower that works well. Another detail I liked was the cleanliness, the maid cleans the room and changes the towels every day, everything clean and smelly towels.
It is a simple hotel, the facilities are indeed old and deserve maintenance, the elevators are small and old too (only two people) but it worked as expected, so for me, it was not a problem.
Regarding breakfast, I had already read comments about not being very complete, and already expected even something quite restricted and really the breakfast is super basic, plenty of carbohydrates and unfortunately no protein and fruits. For those who will spend a few days can take a good one, but those who intend to spend a week or more, at some point can feel sick. The service at the reception was cordial, were courteous and kind.
In short, I consider the Épico Hotel Recoleta a good choice for those who want to visit Buenos Aires. My husband and I believe there are more pros than cons.

Honestly, like home. Daniel, Mauricio and Andrés fascinated us with their hospitality and recommendations. These three people are the heart of the hotel and I want to stress that ALL your help made the trip an unforgettable time. I send you from here (Barcelona) a strong hug.
Ps: the facilities are great and you do not need adapters if you come from Europe.
