Maitei Posadas Hotel Resort

I confirm the previous opinion: Stalinist decoration, cramped room, minimum comfort, tiny bathroom with a bathtub from the 50s , welcome exclusively in Spanish. Only positive point: access to the airport.  “Maitei Resort and Spa”, might suggest a good category hotel at a minimum. We are very, very far from it....

A mess the rooms. We fall very uncomfortable you turn around make a noise are all loose. You should hire a carpenter to tighten the screws a little. Bathroom light to noise better not turn it on to see if it doesn't short circuit

We stayed at this hotel because located mins 2 km from the airport and we got everything wrong! - The welcome was smiling, but difficulties to exchange in English especially when it was necessary to get the price in USD (already high enough) that had been confirmed to us by email at the order was applied. They started wanting to overcharge us by about 30% without explanation, it ended up at + 5%!!! - Poorly equipped room (1 outlet), in poor condition, cramped. fair bedding, - Pool access impossible because dozens of children stormed - Bar with few choices and quite expensive, - Catering with Stalinist decoration, very noisy, a limited menu at very high prices, mini portions with tasteless products - buffet breakfast with limited choice (one cold meat, 2 cheeses, no eggs...) and "industrial" products without taste, -Finally, as the hotel did not offer a shuttle to the airport, we had booked a taxi to catch our plane. Fortunately we took a comfortable margin because after 3/4 hours waiting and several reminders at the desk, the taxi was still not there. In emergency another customer called us an "Uber" who came within 5 minutes and who for took half the price asked by the taxi sponsored by the hotel!!!
