Staying at this hotel was a truly beautiful experience. From the very first moment, Sabrina welcomed us with a warmth, joy, and charisma that are hard to find these days. That welcome already set the tone for our entire stay. The facilities are simply beautiful: a complete, comfortable hotel with charming architecture that perfectly blends with the landscape of San Martín de los Andes. Being able to go out for a walk and encounter the colors of the Patagonian autumn surrounding such a place was something magical. The contrast between nature and the harmony of the hotel creates an experience that is difficult to explain with words. The gastronomy deserves a separate paragraph. Everything was designed with southern identity, deep flavors, and a presentation that was careful even in the smallest detail. We tried a trout with pumpkin puree that perfectly represented the Patagonian essence: delicate, authentic, and full of flavor. Also, a spectacular goulash, one of those dishes that embraces the soul in the cold of the south. And the finale was unforgettable: a chocolate volcano accompanied by American cream ice cream and red fruit sauce, a perfect combination that is very representative of this region where chocolate plays such a special role. I did have a reflection during dinner. At a nearby table, a person chose to treat those attending to him with arrogance and disdain, even questioning a dessert with an unnecessarily overbearing attitude. It was uncomfortable to hear and sad to witness, because places like this operate thanks to the effort, passion, and humanity of people who work to make others experience happy moments. In the end, those who are truly important are not the ones who try to demonstrate power or superiority, but those who make others feel good. Humility always leaves a more elegant mark than any ego. Spectacular hotel next to one of Nicklaus’ best golf courts. in 5 days, one forgets the world around. Many places to walk and drive allows to tour the area.
