Sol Arrayan Hotel & Spa

The hotel is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places. The view of Lake Nahuel Huapí is spectacular: from the rooms and common areas, one can appreciate a landscape worthy of admiration. For those who want to approach the lake, there is a path that goes down from the hotel to the shore. The staff is another very notable point: attentive, warm, and always willing. It is evident that they enjoy what they do, and that translates into excellent service. The breakfast is very delicious and varied. The rooms are comfortable, well-equipped, with heating, private internet in each room, and TV. Undoubtedly a place to return to.

We went on a long weekend trip, twice. The first one night in a double room without terrace, and the second two nights in one with terrace. In both cases we were treated at the front desk with sympathy, kindness and excellence. Very good parking and very comfortable for arrival and departure with luggage movement. Why don't I just say "Excellent"? For one reason only: the hotel has its years and cries out for a refreshment, which is very noticeable in the details. Floors, light table glass, doors in common areas that close with difficulty, exterior woods on the terrace, safes should be "cooled". I insist: they are details that I, who am very observant, and that do not impact too much on the use. But they show... The dining room is very good (we use it only in the three breakfasts) and the breakfasts are very complete and varied. I repeat, it would be a kind of Exclente -, or Very Good+.

This hotel has AMAZING views. It’s right on the lake and the views are incredible. However the hotel is older and it hasn’t been as well maintained as others we have stayed in on our trip to Argentina. It has a nice indoor/outdoor pool as well as a sauna. The rooms do not have televisions, which is fine with us since we don’t care to watch tv when traveling. Also, like some hotels in Argentina it only has heating so the rooms can get warm due to the sun and the large windows. Some of the large windows in the lobby facing the lake have cracks that don’t impede the view, but are symptomatic of some general maintenance and upkeep issues. If we were to return we might consider other options in the area.
