Literally. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms are too although they have the shower in the middle with no proper flooring so it does get flooded a bit when you shower (but I've been to 4 other hotels in Salta and all have the same issue except for the pricy 4star one). Breakfast is okay, mostly hot drinks with a variety of breads or scones with butter and jam depending on the day but you can grab some hot drinks or juice and water any time you want. The highlight is the kitchen area that is really free for guest use which includes a (shared) refrigerator and fully equipped kitchen. The guys that run the front desk are also amazing and really helped us out with everything. Wifi is better on the side closest to the street so ask for a room that is in that area of the building. If you want a no-hassle clean place to stay, this is it.

I am a backpacker,  37 yrs old, 40+ countries visited, travelling with partner. We stayed three nights in a double room with a private bathroom including breakfast for 200 peso per night. ROOM: The room was small but pleasant, clean, with satelite TV and air conditioning, beds comfortable.  The bathroom also very tiny but nicely done with excellent shower, hot water all the time. No Wi Fi in the room which was disadvantage. Also the walls are very thin so if you are light sleeper that might be a bit annoying, especially at the weekend with more guests but keep in mind it's still a budget friendly accommodation in a big city. The towels and soap are provided. FACILITIES & SERVICE: The price includes breakfast which is very very basic (ie local cheap bread rolls with jam but hot water, juice, tea and coffee is available all day). Wifi very good in the small common dining area at the reception. The service is excellent, the owner and all the staff are super nice and helpful, Cynthia speaks English. We were also able to leave the big backpacks for a few days for free while travelling to the north which was great. LOCATION: The hotel is located in a quiet area,10 mins walk to the main plaza and shopping (where by the way you can exchange blue dollars but the rate is lower than in BA), close by to cheap hotdogs,  burgers, budget and medium range restaurants. 15-20 mins walk to the bus terminal. OVERALL: I would definitely recommend this hotel for couples or friends who need relaxing time. It's almost the same price as 2 beds in 10 beds dormitory in other hostels and cheaper than private rooms with shared bathroom in some places and the standard is better.

Good: It's 3 blocks from the main square, so you can avoid the street noise. Gas station with a small shop around the corner makes it a great location. Breakfast is ok, with juice and medialunas. Next to several restaurants, try Bonny&Clyde. Bad: Rooms are very small, so is the tiny bathroom. Small window faces the others rooms aircondition, which you will hear all night long. Owner states to has not received reservation eMail from me (but has room available). Charges us$ 10 more per night (plus 21% tax) than on the confirmed booking! That's a new trick in Argentina, confirm the price on arrival.
