Bahia Redonda

Excellent cost benefit. We stayed in the rooms already retired. When we left (end June/26) the hotel was closing to fully renovate. I believe it will be even better, because the rooms and environments without repair were simpler. Stay close to the main avenue for walking. I was not offering restaurant service (only breakfast). The initial care of the reception by a Girl was great. During the night a boy was attending and was not very caring, but it did not impact our stay.

We reserved 4 rooms long ago, 3 doubles and 1 triple , for 4 nights Upon arrival, we were assigned all rooms in the old wing of the hotel, with rooms that look like a route motel (small, all cramped). The triple room had only 2 beds. Upon complaining, attendant said "you have to share beds". We of course refuse and he switched the triple room to the new wing, which was way nicer. We inquired about why were were not put in the new wing, since we booked a SUPERIOR, not classic room. Attendant lied, saying that the hotel was fully booked (we later confirmed that it was not true). We inquired all following days, and each different attendant told us a different excuse (such as "you booked a superior room, but marked as american" ????). One day we had no electricity the full day. Another one we had to shower with warm water. No apologies whatsoever by anybody. Upon check out we asked to extend the hotel's very early 10am check out time and they denied it? My brother checked out at 1015am and was reprimanded like a schoolboy. I was furious and asked to talk to the Manager, who was nowhere to be seen. Attendants did not even know the complains we made the prior days. One attendant just gave us a number to call. Breakfast was nice, but somehow basic, nothing special. Location was good, 2 blocks from downtown main avenue. There are so many choices in Calafate. Choose a hotel that make you feel special. This will not.

I really don't recommend it. As soon as we arrived at the piece the towels looked like paper and instead of finding a scented room we found a terrible smell of sewer, despite making the claim we had no solution from the concierge. The scented sheets but they seemed worn since there were hairs in it and they were not ours. The wifi is not working, the TV less and wanting to communicate with reception you have to do it personally because the phones in the room do not work. It generates pity that instead of cowering the tourist they kick him out like that, one arrives tired of excursions and finds that there is no water pressure in the bathrooms to shower... again when making the claim we had no answer. The only good thing is the breakfast and the location. I don't recommend it.
