Hotel Kelta

The hotel is as shown in the photos, the service is good, the cleanliness good, positive is 5 blocks from downtown, on a hill, which makes it difficult to arrive walking, has no transportation to the hotel free. breakfast is good, the views towards Lake Argentino, are very nice. Good room service.

It is a 2 to 3 star hotel. It's already showing its age, although for that category it's passable. The breakfast is very poor, incredibly poor, to the point that the group we stayed in made the joke that they were actually prison rations. If you can get by with some mates (be careful, they charge you for water!!) it's fine, but if the idea is to go on an excursion all day it falls short. Until then let's say that we were doing well, getting by. The issue was when one of the group ordered a coffee and when paying for it they charged him 6 USD (if in dollars, as a reference to the Perito Moreno Glacier, in the heart of the national park we paid the equivalent of 3 USD), a real scam, Typical of a short-term provider with zero vision of what it means to provide good service and destroy the tourist destination. A shame!! On several occasions I was able to notice verbal abuse from the owner towards her employees, causing discomfort to me and the rest of the passengers. Also, to add a bit of folklore to the matter, they have a dog that sleeps inside, in the same place where passengers must leave their suitcases after checking out while waiting to be picked up to go to the airport. In short, they are not interested in providing good service.

They told me when I bought the hotel package, it was a hostel. Bad reception from the lady who was at reception (I don't know her name, she didn't introduce herself) we had to return to occupy the room. He counted the minutes to give us the key at exactly 2:00 p.m. despite being free, clean, and knowing how tired we were. Yes, the cleanliness stood out. Very poor breakfast, cereals 1 day, croissants 1 day, baked goods not fresh. There is no variety. They will charge you for the water for the thermos😂😂 I would not go back.
