Central location, excellent service. Staff really nice We arrived a large group and really enjoyed the place. Fair price, large lobby, a seating area, a good atmosphere. Highly recommend for those who come here. do not miss!

Decent value, a basic hostal with 8 to a dorm room. 5 mins from the main street but far enough away to be quiet. Good showers. However, not the cleanest, and security not great. Staff were ok, aimed to please but not much English. Only stayed one night which was fine, but went elsewhere when we came back to El Calafate.

I stayed in a dorm. I only booked this place as accommodation was in short supply due to a music festival. By way of context, I'm a budget traveller 6 months into a RTW trip and my level of expectation is extremely low. I am NOT a 5-star diva! The staff are, without exception, extremely unfriendly and simple requests such as checking in and wanting bread with your breakfast will generate a teenage shrug and tut before the task is completed. I do not expect silver service at the budget end of the accommodation spectrum but this was something else. The dorm rooms are badly maintained, with a dangerous light fitting in a ridiculous position about 6 inches above the pillow. The bathroom too is badly maintained and the layout is completely unsuitable for a mixed dorm. There is a complete lack of atmosphere and the whole establishment feels unwelcoming. On the plus side, the place is pretty well located 3 blocks from the Main Street, and the breakfast was reasonably good- Probably because of the hotel guests sharing the same restaurant. This place is overpriced and does not deserve your business. Please, stay elsewhere!
