It is extremely important that the photos or the hotel description make it clear that the hotel does not have an elevator and that the connection from the top , where there are rooms , to the bottom, where the restaurant is located, is made by stairs. This brings huge difficulty to people who have mobility difficulties, whether by age or disability. I stayed at the bottom and had to go down stairs with bags. If I stayed at the top, I would have to access the restaurant by stairs. Other things could be improved as well. The car access to the reception is ugly, no asphalt. There's no one to welcome you and help with your bags. The staff in general seem to do the basics and are not very concerned about pleasing guests. Lack of training. More professionalization. The hotel only provides Room Service after 19 hs and we still don't know what they offered. We had to request delivery because it was cold to go to town. The high point is the view of the Argentine lake.

The hotel is quite classic. Our room was spacious and despite the carpets, there was no mould smell. The bathroom was also spacious, with the exception of the shower area. The water heats muuuito fast and the heating of the room is also excellent. Firm and large beds. Note four is due to location. The hotel is not on the main street of El Calafate and, walking at reasonable speed, were about 30 min walk to the center, including a slope to the hotel street. So, if you are not in the car, I do not recommend this accommodation. There are other hotels of the same level and closer to the Centre the q will save you in the taxi or in the "legs". Breakfast is normal. Nothing so special and tasty that you feel like going back.

One of the worst hotel experiences I have had, and I travel alot. It is a filthy hotel, mold and dirt in the bathroom, no towel for the bathroom floor, no wifi that works in the rooms, no airconditioning, only one soap and one toiletroll in the rooms. No change of the wornout towels even in they are soakingwet since the shower is spilling out water into the hall. The worst thing is that when we arrived to check in in our prepaid and confirmed room they told us that they did not have any room. We had to wait one hour and by the help of our travel agency we got our prepaid room. (!!) A steep stony and muddy road leads up to the hotel. O ly one thing is good: the view is magic.
