HOSTERIA BELLA VISTA

Hostería Bella Ushuaia is located 3.5km from the centre of Ushuaia. In the centre you find the pier with the cruise-ships for Antarctica, and a choice of restaurants, shops & tour agencies. Reaching the hostel and going bak to the center is easy and taxis are inexpensive. The hotel is very quiet and offers 11 rooms over 2 floors. The breakfast room & a simple lounge are downstairs in the basement. Free Wi-Fi. Staff is helpful and very friendly. Don’t expect much English, conversation goes via g-translate. Our room was adequately furnished & decorated, with table & stool, TV on the wall, open wardrobe with safe, an OK double-bed, an extra single bed and a staple-bed. We had a small separate bathroom with toilet, bidet, washbasin and shower over the bath. We were happy to find the heating running high. The window can be opened. All was clean. The buffet breakfast is acceptable: cake & croissant, bread & toast, ham & cheese, butter & marmalade, juice & yoghurt, tea & coffee. We found Hostería Bella Ushuaia good value-for-money, and we had a pleasant stay. Recommended.

Arrived on a weekend . Have no idea why my damn agent placed me over here .... far away from the town center and the airport ..long -long ride on the terrible town roads . The room is clean ...good WiFi connection , Stuff does not understand a word in English . She was laughing...( this stupid gringo does not speak Spanish) I believe - if you are running business in a tourists area - you might have multilingual staff .. Anyways - no lunch or dinner options around - need to take taxi to the town center .. I would summarize that way - if you are looking for decent place to stay and enjoy the Antarctic beauty - stay away of this property. 142USD - is too much for this .

Was a 15 min drive out of town but was quiet, clean and had great views from our upstairs room of the whole of Ushuaia. Breakfast was nice and the host very friendly. Able to park outside and up the end of the road is the Tierra del Fuego park entrance. Lots of hot water and good sized rooms.
