Letter I sent to hotel with no reply Dear Hotel Manager, I am writing to formally complain about the unacceptable condition of the apartment I was provided during my recent stay. Unfortunately, the accommodation fell well below the standard that any guest should reasonably expect. After my daughter used the shower, we discovered that it was covered in extensive mould. The condition of the shower was so unhygienic that we immediately requested to be moved to another room. No guest should be expected to use facilities in such a condition. In addition to the mould in the shower, I found several other serious cleanliness and maintenance issues, including: Extensive mould throughout the bathroom. A dirty shower head that appeared not to have been properly cleaned. Significant dust built up in the air conditioning vents, raising concerns about both cleanliness and air quality. A nail protruding from the bottom of a door, creating a potential safety hazard. These issues made the apartment unhygienic, uncomfortable, and unsafe. I paid for accommodation that should have been clean, well maintained, and fit for guests, but the condition of the apartment did not meet even basic expectations. I hope you will treat this complaint seriously and take immediate steps to ensure future guests are not subjected to similar conditions. I look forward to hearing from you soon. My first impression of the apartments was poor. There was an unpleasant smell as if perfume was trying to cover up a smell. The door to my apartment 102 was faulty and although they said they would check it remained the same. The 2 bedroom apartment was quite large with 2 bathrooms and a decent kitchen, but that’s where the positives end. The second bedroom had a distinctive smell and curtains with large holes. The main bedroom with ensuite had one curtain with what looked like a vomit stain and the heater was missing it’s vanes so that the heat just went up to the roof, which was not ideal on a cold night. The bottom of the robes looked like they had never been cleaned. Would not recommend.
