My wife and I are off on our annual road trip to Sydney and trying to experience new places along the way and found the Ramada at Ballina. It’s in the centre of town across the road from the river. Our room had a beautiful outlook and perfectly positioned to watch a magnificent sunrise. We took advantage of the offer to have a 1 bedroom suite upgrade for an additional $5 and ended up with a very spacious I bedroom apartment with full kitchen. The room was neat and clean - very straightforward. Parking was in a secure facility and the hotel has a restaurant and bar area. No room service which was a shame after our road trip but a number of restaurants within walking distance. The staff were super friendly and couldn’t be more helpful.

Great property in a great location. We had the one bedroom family suite. Description says the single beds are in an “alcove” so I wasn’t expecting much. But honestly it’s pretty much a second bedroom. The layout was great with everything we could have possibly needed. Very spacious. Pool was closed for maintenance when we were there (we knew ahead of time) but I could see this would be a great facility when open. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We did find that the breezeway area outside our room was way too bright at night, with light streaming in around the blinds. If you like to sleep in the dark pack an eye mask. Would definitely stay again. The town has a great atmosphere, and the property represents great value.

We had a lovely 2 night stay, you felt right at home from the friendliness of the reception staff, easy secure car parking and a spacious apartment overlooking the river. The bedroom and bathroom are both very large, small dining area and balcony and comfortable lounge. Great to have a TV that enables Netflix
