Ask to see your room before you commit to staying - we audibly gasped when we walked in. Quite genuinely the very worst accommodation I've ever stayed in.

Our room was comfortable and clean. The motel is close to shops and food. Easy to park and find. Reception and other staff were friendly and efficient. Check in easy. For an overnight stay it perfectly suited our needs. However, if I was to stay in the area longer the room would have been a bit small. Having a bathroom at one end and a basin in the other was not really convenient. Breakfast was adequate with toast/condiments, fruit, juices and pancakes on offer.

This is not much about the stay at the hotel but the inability of the staff to help. I made my reservation online as a Accor member. Unfortunately I set my arrival date one day before. I logged in again to modify my reservation but this could not be done online. Instead the portal advised me to contact the hotel directly, which I did. The response was that because I had a very special rate they were unable to modify my booking which was fully prepaid. I was not asking a refund but at least a credit. Anyway, very disappointing experience both with the portal and with the staff.
