Caribbean Motel

Stayed one night as we attended an event nearby , stayed in a Seaview room , room was a nice size , very clean and looked renovated , nice big bathroom with a huge shower and room had a balcony ( you could see the ocean in the distance ) tv was huge which was great , found bed a little uncomfortable ( this is nothing against hotel just bed wasn’t to our liking ) car park was tight as we have a larger car , ended up parking on the street instead , staff I encountered were friendly . Motel had a small pool but didn’t get a chance to use it it’s close to shops , restaurants and cafe , would stay again

Great location, clean & comfortable room. Friendly staff. Only issue lack of parking, also parking areas were way too small to fit a large car or 4x4, Had to park on street.

We stayed here recently and was very disappointed in the motel. It says newly renovated. Sure, after speaking to the guy in management he said 3 years ago. This is very misleading and unprofessional. The room was stuffy. only thing we could do to fix this was to leave our door ajar and this bought in mozzies and bugs. Manager says they don't have mozzie. Oh yes, they do. Showed her. The room was a family room. No way could a family stay there for days on end. The bathroom was very tiny. The bed was awful. The springs coming out of the bed on the window side of the room. One stuck into my husband as he was getting out of bed. See photos. The lounge had cobwebs on it and was well worn. There is no room service unless you ask for new towels or your room to be made up. They will do it after you have stayed 5 days. There is a sign up in reception but it's small and this should be reiterated when you book in. We ask when we checked in if it wasn't comfortable could we get refund the next 2 nights was told no it was too late. This is incorrect. We have given 24hrs notice. We don't normally book online but it was a last-minute trip. I am disabled and the room needs to fit my requirements. We felt they didn't listen. It seems to be all about the bookings and not the people who stay. We paid $258 for first two nights and $215 for third night. This was not worth it. We were going to discuss this with management before we left but they weren't open when we were leaving.
