Spacious 1 bedroom unit with a comfortable bed, large kitchen, washing machine, 2 TVs, clean and modern. We picked the unit not facing the beach, so the view was at the walls of the neighboring apartments. A bit dark and you can't tell what the weather is like, but we didn't mind. The location is perfect, just opposite the beach, walking distance to restaurants, shops and bus stop. The unit is accessible via a code, so if you are arriving before 2pm and you have luggage to store, you may need to communicate with hotel staff ahead of arrival. We noticed that there is storage in the basement of the building but you will need a code to access it. There is also a storage facility a few meters down from the hotel. We visit Bondi regularly, and have stayed in different hotels. In comparison, Bondi 38's accomodation is huge compared to Adina and more modern than Bondi Hotel.

2br flat level 1 by lift. Accessible BR king bed but at least 90 cm off the floor so a bit of a lift needed to get my son in. Accessible bathroom not 4x4m but well thought out and able to get into the hand held shower with a commode no steps or bumps. 2nd bedroom has a queen bed. Lots of storage. Washing machine available. Dishwasher. Fantastic location - across the road from the beach, bustling cafe scene downstairs, accessible bus outside to the Circular Quay and all the city Sydney attractions. Thanks to Vikki for her help especially with receiving our hire equipment (also great hire experience with local ILS)

Bondi 38 is such a lucky find! Lovely little apartments with wonderful soft beds and sofa beds, everything well designed and high quality. The kitchen is so well stocked that we ate from the excellent grocery stores, though there are plenty of great restaurants down below. The staff were all sweethearts, though Vickie the manager deserves a medal. We were astonished at the trouble she took hunting down our lost money and passports and guiding us through the police system. We give her credit that when everything was discovered in a different city, it was all swiftly returned to us. She's a national treasure and she runs a grand little hotel!
