The hotel is so conveniently located close to the station and city. The front desk people were friendly enough. My room was large and spacious. I had friends also staying in the hotel on the same level and my room was bigger than my 3 friends rooms. But whilst my room was grand, it was dated - particularly the carpet and paint. There was no ducted air con and the split system was old and very noisy. Even worse was the fact the room was beside the gas room and the noise from that room was consistent throughout my stay. Whoever thought putting a paying customer beside a noisy gas room was a great idea?! This room would be great if you can sleep through noise. I’m not one of those people. The lounge faced the wardrobe and the tv was quite small and not near the bed either so pointless to try to watch anything as there was nowhere to watch it from due to the size and shape of the room.

I recently enjoyed the buffet breakfast at Rydges Sydney Central and was thoroughly impressed. The selection was fresh, plentiful, and catered to a wide range of tastes, from classic hot breakfast favourites to fresh fruit, pastries, cereals, and quality coffee. The food was consistently well-presented and regularly replenished, ensuring everything was fresh throughout service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and created a welcoming atmosphere that made the experience even more enjoyable. Whether you're staying at the hotel or looking for a great breakfast in the area, I would highly recommend the buffet breakfast at Rydges Sydney Central.

Great location close to central train station to head out to Olympic Park for Concerts. Close to awesome cafes. Staff are great, very accommodating and friendly. Rooms are comfortable and spacious.
