Cadell on the Murray Motel

We have stayed here before and came back for a reason... It's such a lovely location and we find it really homely and comfortable. We love the peace and the birdlife especially. Always a lovely stay.

We arrived around lunchtime and were greeted by a lovely lady driving a golf cart. She set about locating the housekeepers to see which rooms were available and ready. She let us in straight away, which we very much appreciated. We only stayed one night on this trip to Moama, but could have easily stayed for several more. The room was reasonable priced and we chose to stay there due to the quieter location. The motels along the highway are subject to a lot of road noise at all hours of the day and night, but this was perfectly peaceful and quiet. The room had been renovated to a modern standard. The bed was comfortable and the kitchenette had sufficient cutlery and crockery for three persons, a small fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. There was a separate sink with dishwashing liquid, scourer, dishcloth and tea towel. There were spare pillows and blankets in the wardrobe alongside an iron and ironing board. There were sufficient hangers for hanging clothes inside the wardrobe too. The room had clean tiles and carpet and looked like they had been recently replaced. The bathroom had been completely renovated with a huge walk in shower, basin and toilet with plenty of towels for 3 persons. There was also a hairdryer in the bathroom. The sliding doors at the back of the room opened up to face the Murray River where we were lucky enough to see a Paddlesteamer sail by. There was plenty of outdoor seating and barbecue facilities. Outside each room was a little table and 2 chairs to enjoy a coffee and enjoy the view on a good weather day. There was also a generous sized parking space at the front door of each room. We really enjoyed our stay on this occasion and will definitely stay there again when we next visit this region along the Murray.

Great location. Stunning views. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Room serviced every day. Perfection holiday spot. Family friendly.
