Marcel Towers Holiday Apartments

Stayed in Marcel Towers 12-15 Dec and had a wonderful peaceful beach holiday. Walk up 3 floors no worries. Balcony overlooking the Majestic Nambucca River where it enters the Pacific Ocean. Absolutely Magnificent views, with colours changing different times of the day; Watching the birds and few kayaks. Bliss. It was QUIET. Very little traffic. Wonderful Walk to the V Wall and around the point to Shelley Beach good for kids, (which has shade and good amenities). Also swim at little alcoves around the estuary and V Wall. The unit itself was very clean, with everything you need. TV in lounge and main bedroom. Ceiling fans in all rooms with remote. AC in living kitchen area. Couldn’t ask for more. Kayaks available for free. We will be back for sure. Ps washing machine available at the office.

Recent stay at Marcel. Great location right on the water, with amazing views from the 3rd floor. Close walk to V wall, parks and restaurants. Appartment was very comfortable, well kitted kitchen, very clean, comfortable beds etc. Would recommend for families. Draw back was noise. Groups of teenagers out the front yelling and other residents coming home from the pub and blaring music. Put a dampener on an otherwise great visit.

We booked here after reviewing the website during our trip north to the Gold Coast from Sydney. What a fantastic location. We sat on the balcony, looking down on the river and watching the waves of the ocean out further. Just listening to water and waves was beautiful. The 2 bedroom apartment on the top floor was clean, bright and had everything you would need for a longer stay. Richard, the owner was very personable. Always had a cheerful smile and assisted with any questions etc. Nothing seemed like any trouble for him. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to friends. We were lucky to stay here, but I would say Richard gets booked out well in advance.
