The good thing about this motel is that it’s pet friendly and the room smelt like pets. I purchased Glen 20 and disinfectant wipes . I tried to open extra windows to let the air in but couldn’t as they were locked. The mattress and pillows were the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept on. The TV you couldn’t get normal channels on either. It’s good that they are pet friendly but they might need to use better cleaning products and let fresh air in the room. I always take training pads for my fur babies which they use. The day we checked out we found a room key which I handed in and got the third degree from the receptionist stating they were looking for it the day before and wanted to know when we found it I explained just before we checked out. She wasn’t very friendly.

We recently stayed at the Windmill Motel in Coffs Harbour and had a wonderful experience. The reception staff were extremely friendly and kindly offered us an upgrade to a room away from the highway, which was very much appreciated. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The beds were especially comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The shower had amazing water pressure, which was a lovely bonus after a long day of travelling. The motel also has an on-site restaurant offering both breakfast and dinner, which was very convenient. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again.

I booked through Booking.com I unfortunately had to cancel, I cancelled through Booking.com I also rang the motel they said they didn’t receive cancellation blaming Booking.com I emailed them direct twice no reply. During one call she told me to wait all I could hear was arguing in the background between themselves…. BEWARE they don’t return emails or phone calls… they should be reported which I have done back to Booking.com
