The Manager at Taree Motor Inn was extremely nice and went above and beyond to help us in a last minute situation. We found him exceptional. The accommodation was very clean and reasonably priced. Do not be fooled by the outside appearance. It does not do it justice. It is on the Manning River and the motel rooms are at the back. When travelling to Taree we will definately stay here again as we were treated like guests should be. Maree Jordan (Sydney) Sandra Reid (Sydney) .

Car park is coarse, loose gravel with no marked spaces, trees have been lopped and left taking up limited parking space, no chance of wheeling your suitcase to your room. Motel is very close to the busy road. Room was inside a maze of rooms, couldn't open the door, no proper instructions. One look inside and my wife decided she didn't want to stay. The room looked tidy and sort of clean but we weren't happy with it. Asked for a refund of my 2 days advance payment, after quite a hassle, mgr offered to refund 1 day. We found a much nicer motel, The Highway Motel, so I called him to say we wouldn't be back so he could re let the room. Called him a week later to ask where my refund was, after 3 ignored calls he answered, argued a lot and hung up on me. Still haven't got my refund. Do yourself a favour and stay away.

Dump is an understatement - booked by phone sight unseen the Taree Motor Inn should be demolished - floor under dirty carpet has dipped areas (not good for crook ankles), aircon is stuffed, bathroom 1m x 3m is filthy, toilet paper seal is just placed on seat without toilet being cleaned, cracked basin, loose tap assembly - just and absolute filthy hobble.
