Flynns motel is absolutely superb and is probably the best accommodation we have stayed in whilst in Australia! The beach is only 5 minutes away and I joined people early in the morning surfing and swimming and enjoying a cappuccino from a beach bar afterwards. The complex itself is set in beautiful gardens with two small swimming pools both of which have sun lounges around them there is also a tennis court and a small informal restaurant serving good sensibly priced food. We occupied a room 101. It was a large 2 bedroom flat. It had a lounge with a big screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a hub, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, oven freezer and fridge. There was also a washing machine and tumble dryer together with a dishwasher. The whole place was delightfully. It was clean and large. There was good car parking in the shade and we received a very warm and well informed welcome from Eddie who was it both helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We paid about £220 for two nights and felt it was excellent value.

It would be hard to find enough superlatives to describe the amazing Flynn’s beach resort in Port Macquarie. Situated within a 5-minute walk of Flynn's beach which is great for surfing and sunbathing, the complex of apartments is set around a beautiful (and beautifully kept) garden with two small swimming pools together with sun loungers. There is also a tennis court and as a part of the complex, a restaurant with indoor and outdoor areas serving good and sensibly priced pub food. Our apartment (room 101 ) was a very large 2 bedroomed flat equipped with a lounge area, big screen TV, reasonable wi-fi, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, hob, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, fridge and freezer and a good set of crockery and cutlery. The apartment also had a dishwasher, a washing machine and a tumble dryer together with a clothes horse for hanging out your clothes. The two bedrooms were large and comfortable with ample wardrobe space and there was a delightful balcony overlooking the garden. It is not an exaggeration to say that you could actually choose to live here for your home rather than simply visit on holiday (and indeed some people were doing that). There is ample car parking in the shade, and we received a warm informative and helpful welcome at reception from Eddy. His friendliness and knowledge of both the apartments and the local area was a real positive. I paid £229 for two nights. I wish we could have stayed for longer!

Good location, very quite with beaches a short walk away. Pools and tennis court are good. Staff lovely and very helpful It is located a few KM'S from the town center but it is a great location and quite. Plenty of activities for the kids and beaches are patrolled by life savers
