Ashfield Manor

Comfortable rooms and breakfast area. Simple complimentary continental breakfast of variety of bread for toast and cereals and fresh fruits. Jen was really friendly and made us feel welcome during our stay. It’s is less than 5min drive to Ashfield mall which has Coles, Kmart of many eateries from different countries. Not to far from city centre or to visit Bondi Beach.

Due to flight delays we arrived late got given a code to unlock our key- code never worked so got stuck outside. Tried calling the emergency contact number and no one answers. Couldn’t even get a place next door. Had to spend a night sheltering outside as we couldn’t get any other accomodation due to the late hour. Extremely disappointed and froze.

I stayed here with a friend during my first ever visit to Sydney recently, having flown in from the UK. We received a warm welcome by Margarita who couldn’t have been more helpful with local and travel information. This really is a great friendly place and although basic, it provides everything you need for a base. Hopefully I ll return to Sydney again soon and I would definitely consider staying at Ashfield Manor!
