We simply loved this hotel! The staff were exceptional, friendly and helpful. The rooms were immaculate and well appointed. Ours was particularly spacious as it was a family room with three beds. The beds were dreamy comfortable. The hotel has a heritage feel but the rooms are modern and beautiful. The hotel is in a fantastic location and within walking distance to the shopping district and many restaurants. If you enjoy walking, you could walk to the Sydney Opera House in about 30 minutes. If walking is not preferred, then buses and tram stations within minutes of the hotel to take you to where you need to go. Overall, simply an outstanding experience at The Grace Hotel. This particular hotel was recommended in the Lonely Planet book and so happy to take their advice. It was a fantastic place to begin our visit in Sydney and overall 3 week visit in Australia.

Very nice hotel for exploring Sydney key CBD highlights. Within easy walking distance of the main shopping areas, circular quay, the opera house etc. great value for money given the standard and location. Would highly recommend.

The positive reviews on this place must be years old. Sure it's a pretty hotel from the outside and lobby...but once you get into the rooms they're just aged, broken/missing shower grout, more tiles cracked than not. No security pass needed to get up the lifts to the rooms. The main feature of our stay was the noise... can hear water running from other rooms, could hear word for word the conversations of the room next door
