I actually never really complain because I'm a pretty easy traveller but it was not good. Booked through booking.co.m. The hallway and bathroom doors are so heavy so it is loud through the night as people come in and out. The shared bathroom facilities were ok, but not cleaned enough so there was mould and conditioner etc. caked on the shower walls. It was pretty grim having a shower. The bed linen was nice but they were old beds that sagged in the middle. Overall I felt like on the surface it was nice but it meant I had a terrible sleep on the nights there and felt like the nearly $300 p/night was totally over valued.

The Jensen was situated in a great location to access Sydney sights. The overall value was pretty good, but we found the room a little underwhelming. It lacked atmosphere and the shared bathroom was a little annoying as it was busy and not the cleanest. The room was very noisy with street cleaners often waking us up as well as noisy guests. The balcony was nice and a good way to soak in the surrounding neighbourhood ambience. A smart TV , some room mood lighting and complimentary ear plugs would be a welcome addition and elevate the hotel from ok to great.

I had a dinner appointment in Potts Point and didn’t want to travel all the way home afterwards, so I booked single bedroom with shared bathroom for a place to stay for the night. It proved to be ideal! The check-in process is very simple, using a code they send you to open the door and a combination to the key safe inside. The room was small, but very clean and modern, equipped with everything you need to spend a comfortable night, including a fridge and sink. There were two bathrooms nearby. One was so small you couldn’t move around easily, but the other one was fine. You wouldn’t want to spend a week here but as a place to crash for one night…ideal! Highly recommended
