Meriton Serviced Apartments Kent Street

We stayed at the Meriton on Kent St for 6 nights to recoup from an operation in hospital. It was a one bedroom apartment. We chose the Meriton because it was close to the hospital and shops. It also had a full kitchen (we planned to do our own cooking) and a TV in each bedroom. The good things we found was: Good central location Comfy bed Hotel staff were friendly Apartment was clean and tidy Good shower, but had to step into bath to have a shower Comfy lounge The not so good things were: Toilet was located the furthest away from bedroom Only 1 saucepan and frying pan in apartment There are only 5 lifts to service 431 rooms, so there were long waits and crowded lifts The internet connection was so weak you could not cast shows from iPad to TV (even though the brochure in the room said you could) Parking was expensive $$$ If I could give 3 and a half stars, I would but did not think I could stretch it to 4.

Rather than to walk one round of the building.

Beautiful apartment, got an upgrade from studio to one bedroom. Well located with lots of eateries and transport at the door. Spotless with a full kitchen and laundry great bed linen, only disappointment was the bed which was lumpy and way too soft for us.
