The location here can’t be beat - it’s a very short walk to the harbour, Milsons Point Station, Milsons Point Ferry wharf, pedestrian access to the bridge, Luna Park and North Sydney pool.
5 minutes walk are the fabulous cafes and restaurants of Kirribilli. There’s 2 grocery stores within a block, and the best coffee in the area is at Altitude right outside the door.
The apartment has narrow views in one direction over the northern entrance to the Harbour Bridge and in the other over Lavender Bay.
There’s also very easy to access free parking on site.
The apartment has a tiny, but well equipped small kitchen with an induction cooktop, large fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and pots and pans etc.
The bathroom is very dated and quite narrow, but clean with a separate shower and bath.
There was plenty of closet space to hang clothes, or put them in cupboards, with an iron and ironing board provided.
The lounge room is a very good size and the wifi was easy to access and reasonably fast. However the TV only had Foxtel satellite channels with no streaming services (but it did allow casting from devices).
The two major negatives for us were:
1. Construction activity which was very loud from about 8.30am, but ended around 4pm and didn’t happen on weekends. This should be finished in a few months time, and they are completely upfront about this in the bookings. Outside of this we heard no noise - the room was very quiet with no outside or traffic noise apparent.
2. The bed! The mattress was pretty old and uncomfortable. This is our one major red flag and we found it difficult to sleep.
In short we loved the location, the overall state of the apartment and especially the on site parking. With a better mattress we would definitely stay here again.

As they say… walk, don’t run. Actually no, run. Sprint. Put as much distance between you and this place as humanly possible.
CONS:
“Serviced Apartments” is a bold claim here. Serviced when… 1999? Early 2000s at best? Because nothing in this place has seen a refresh, a deep clean, or frankly any kind of care since then.
The front desk assistant was lovely, I’ll give credit where it’s due. Although I genuinely don’t know how he managed to show the apartment with a straight face… especially knowing we were headed to Apartment 58.
Now, the apartment itself… where do I even begin?
Peeling paint, a front door lock that felt like a puzzle you didn’t sign up to solve, and a broken door knocker just to set the tone. Step inside and you’re greeted with dirty walls (yes, actually dirty, not “a bit marked”… dirty). I ended up cleaning them myself with soap and a cloth because apparently that’s not part of the “service.”
The couch was grubby, carpets stained, lamps falling apart, blinds frayed, and the windows looked like they’ve never experienced the concept of cleaning. The bedroom carpet had a stain so large it deserved its own postcode. No TV in the bedroom, and the lounge TV was tiny and only worked with Foxtel. Congratulations, I guess?
The bathroom felt like a museum exhibit from the late 80s. Peeling paint, taps that wouldn’t turn off (it’s called a washer, guys, not a revolutionary concept), and a shower door that refused to close so water went absolutely everywhere.
Not one single piece of furniture matched… it honestly looked like someone did a full lap of roadside clean-up week and thought, “yep, that’ll do.” Zero effort, zero style!
We were given one towel each. One. Thin, worn, fraying… I’ve seen sturdier paper towels.
The kitchen? Not a single thing was properly clean. The dining table still had food on it. Not “a mark”… actual leftover food. I’ll let that sink in.
The pool was supposedly heated to 27°C. Sure. And I’m the reincarnation of Queen Elizabeth. The pool lining was peeling away, and of course, no pool towels. You’re expected to use your ‘one’ sad bathroom towel for everything. Efficient, if you enjoy damp misery.
By the end of the stay, let’s just say I’m strongly considering booking myself in for a tetanus shot… purely as a precaution after whatever that experience was.
PROS:
Close to the ferry and train station… which is perfect, because you’ll want a quick escape.
