Novotel Parramatta

High tea at Novotel parramatta. When first arrived there was only one table there dressed and that was for us so gave us warning signs if we were the only table. Only one waitress /bar person there to look after us and with the EELS playing, she had lots of customers. Eventually she came to us even with a bar full of customers so run off her feet. She managed to get tea to us an hour through us being there. Food arrived which looked good until felt the sandwiches which curled up at the corners so obviously made many hours prior to us arriving or previous night and had not been covered so very stale. There were dried up cakes and scones where obviously cooked a number of days prior to the Sunday we arrived. Being my 70th birthday party I can only say the event was appalling. I have had around 10 high teas in my life and this one was the worst ever. No wonder the place was empty. If only I knew about this pace before I would never have come. A waste of $400.

Great stay at Novotel Parramatta Sydney! The room was clean and comfortable, the location was convenient, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Reading reviews I was hesitant on what I’d find upon my arrival, but I was pleasantly surprised…lovely big bed, clean and tidy. Only downside was the hazards created by the other guests in the hallways. Great location, close to the strip of restaurants and not far to Parramatta Station.
