As a Platinum member, I’ve stayed in many hotels around the world, but my experience at PARKROYAL Darling Harbour truly stood out. From the moment I arrived, the service felt personal, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The room was excellent — spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. It offered everything I needed for a relaxing stay, and the attention to detail made it feel like a home away from home. Breakfast was another highlight. The selection was fantastic sago, chia pudding, coconut yoghurt, dumpling, banana bread, one of the best pineapple juice, and the quality was outstanding. A special mention goes to Rodney, who was exceptionally polite and attentive. He personally showed us the breakfast room and made sure we felt taken care of from the very start of the morning. At Abode Restaurant, we had the pleasure of being looked after by Lucas, Min, and Cynthia. Their service was warm and professional, and thanks to them we enjoyed some of the best oysters and focaccia we’ve ever had. I also want to acknowledge Ned and Bety, who were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Every interaction with the staff reinforced the feeling that guest comfort is truly a priority here. The location is perfect — close to everything, yet peaceful enough to unwind after a day in the city. Whether for business or leisure, it’s an ideal base in Sydney. Overall, this hotel is a place I would happily return to, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a memorable experience.

Had a great one night stay at Parkroyal Darling Harbour. Chose for location and great value. Our whole stay was seemless with Valet parking on arrival, easy check in by friendly helpful staff. Room was perfect for a 1 night stay with King bed. We walked from hotel to Circular Quay following water edge all the way. enjoyed nice dinner overlooking water near opera house . Then walk back through the Rocks and Barangaroo enjoying the VIVID light shows on the way back with fireworks in Darling harbour. Buffet breakfast was great at the hotel. Will stay again.

We’re based in Park Royal Daring Harbour for 8 days. The hotel itself is situated at a very busy intersection about a ten minutes stroll from Darling harbour, the light rail and the QVB. Overall our experience was disappointing. We were in room 816 which had a view over to Darling Harbour, the room itself was lovely, with a very comfortable king size bed and fabulous bathroom. Unfortunately the room overlooked the motorway and as a result there was a constant din of traffic. We had Lounge access for breakfast and for drinks and canapés from 5 - 7pm in the evenings which was great to come back to after the day exploring the city, however, on two occasions during our stay we were unable to get a drink at 6:50pm as the staff have closed the drinks section without telling us they were doing so. The reception area of the hotel is always busy and it is difficult to find an area where you can relax and unwind apart from in your room. The hotel lacks an outside sitting area and a pool. Jesse at reception and the housekeeping staff were lovely, but overall our experience at the hotel was disappointing especially considering the price paid. Furthermore, the hotel was very slow - 6 working days and only after I called to query the delay - to return the deposit paid on arrival - in all other cases where we paid a booking deposit to other hotels during our trip the monies were return within 3 working days.
