Wentworth Grande Resort

Nice place in the centre of Wentworth. We had an enormous room (with spa bath!) overlooking the Darling River. Very quiet - aside from the local kookaburras. Easy onsite parking. The price of a room includes breakfast, but bear in mind it’s only continental breakfast (without coffee from an espresso machine). Another tip: they recommend the Royal Hotel for dinner, but we thought the Captain Sturt was much nicer.

Comfortable bed. Average (good) sized room with a nice balcony overlooking the pool. Very well established garden with palm trees. Clean and tidy. The only thing I can comment on is the shower water pressure. The two way switch on the tap for the ‘bath side’ had plenty of pressure and water. When switching to the shower head - not so. I almost had to run around to get wet. Therefore it must have something to do with the shower head. I stayed in Suite 23 overlooking the pool. Nice.

CRACKER motel. Good value, great showers and great rooms. Super friendly staff when we got here and Lavina was a great host for breakfast. (Which was included(continental)). Certainly would recommend as a great Country Motel stay.
