Best Western Batchelor Resort

Lovely cabin. Beautiful gardens, take a stroll around enjoy the peace and quiet. Location is perfect. You can walk to the general store, museum, pub. Twice a day they have bird feeding. The pool is awesome and they supply pool noodles if needed. I haven't tried the mini golf yet but it's on my to do list before I leave.

Had 6 nights here in the caravan as the base for our Litchfield and surrounding area expeditions. Host greeted us with dumplings on the first day which were delicious! A beautiful location with lots of shade and wildlife. Bird feeding of about 100 corellas each day was fun as well, and the kids loved the mini golf and catching frogs! Owners were very helpful when we had to fix some things on our van. Showers were fairly old and weak which was the only issue.

We had the most wonderful stay at Batchelor holiday park. The facilities are on the older side but none of this matters when you are met with the kind generosity of the family running the park. When we arrived they gave us an entire dinner of dumplings since they knew we would be tired from our long drive. Then our kids got to play as much free mini golf as they wanted and even got to hold the baby chickens and look at all the animals. When one of our cars had a flat battery the owners even jump started our car for us and stuck around to make sure we were okay. What a magical 6 days we had, I wish we could have stayed longer.
