Lake Bennett Resort

So bad and boring ! If you don’t rent a house along the lake there is nothing to do ! You can’t walk, swim (crocodiles) and the only resort you can find is totally lost and dirty ! I do not recommend at all

Think 80's summer camp. When they say "visitors welcome to swim" they mean "you can swim IF you buy an overpriced lunch". Such false advertising wouldn't matter so much if they didn't lure people 80km from Darwin to do it. If you're going as a day trip ignore the sign and DONT sign in at reception.

We did not stay there but we did call in for our last night in Litchfield. What a find. Very rustic but great views of the lake, a beautiful pool and great food to boot. Our waiter from Surrey UK was such a delight with a welcoming smile and constantly attending to our needs without being OTT. We will definitely be back. I would love to hire one of the kayaks on the lake one day ~ simply stunning 😍
