A great location within Darwin at the cheaper end of the scale (still pricey though). Arrived to find the only lift out of order and had to climb 95 stairs with heavy bags to get to our room. Room comfortable but basic. Kitchenette did not have basic things like a potato peeler. No spare power points to charge phones etc - had to unplug microwave to get a power point. Room service non - existent. Had to go to office on a couple of occasions for spare bin bags and toilet paper. When we were ready to leave (had a coach pickup scheduled around the corner) and found office unattended with a sign saying leave key in room!!!! Not funny when you have to climb back up 95 stairs. Why is there not a key box outside reception????? Staff were unable to give a date when lift would be repaired. Several visitors noted to be really struggling with the stairs. No offer of reduced price for the significant inconvenience of being on one of the upper floors without lift access. Rubbish left in stairwell and along corridors. Even had water pouring down from the balcony above one night.

Clean and comfortable accommodation, right in the heart of the CBD! Everything is in walking distance, including Smith Mall and the waterfront. I highly recommend this place. The customer service is professional and I will definitely return.

We were happy with our room (502) and found it to be clean, well presented with a comfortable bed. The only negative was the dish washing sponge/scourer was used. A small new dishcloth and scourer should be provided for every new booking. The shower was very good, although the hot water ran out for the 2nd person (not sure if there is a timer in place?). The location was very central with an easy walk to the Waterfront, close to pubs, eateries and supermarkets. We would happily stay again
