Katherine Motel

We really enjoyed our stay in the King Executive Room at Katherine Motel. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with a lovely king bed and a recliner that made it easy to relax after a day of exploring. The room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including microwave, fridge/freezer, tv, safe, cutlery, crockery, toaster & kettle. Airconditioner worked well too. The location was convenient, with Woolworths supermarket just around the corner and walking distance to many restaurants and Cafes. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the room and pool area was a great place to unwind. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and we would happily stay here again when visiting Katherine. They have an electronic gate that locks at 8pm so your car and belongings are safe in front of your room. You receive the access code when you check in. One thing to note is the shower is above the bath, so you need to be able to step into the bath to shower.

In this deserted area, you don't have that many lodging options. This motel is, by and large, OK, but nothing more. In itself, the location and amenities are fine. It is quite simple. However, it was the first accommodation on our road trip that was not quite up to par in terms of cleanliness; not really bad, but not really good either.

Central to town. Clean and today facility and rooms. Great pool to cool off and top Tucker over 2 days. The managers and staff couldn’t do enough for us as individuals and our tour group with Maher Tour.
