Mylos Apartments

Amazing communication before arrival and fantastic hospitality during our stay. 2-bedroom apartment (unit 28) on the third floor with partial ocean views. Keep in mind the green trees on the esplanade, which limit the view of the beach, but you can watch passing ships in the distance. FANTASTIC location; so many eateries for all tastes and budgets within walking distance. The Alex Hotel is across the road and we had great pub snacks with our beverages. It is older, but it’s priced accordingly and you have a clean, safe, comfortable stay. Plenty of blankets in the bedrooms, but no blackout curtains is hard for a sleep in past sunrise. Washer & dryer in an internal laundry room and a fully equipped kitchen is fantastic. Free to air TV was fine and comfy lounges. We tried to log into ABC Iview but had Google store challenges. The balcony is small, but fine for 2 people. You’d struggle for more people to sit outside. No exhaust fan in the bathroom made it damp for a while after people showered, but good to have hot showers. Would absolutely come and stay again.

We stayed at the Mylos Apartments in Alexandra Headland for seven nights and absolutely loved our time here. The two-bedroom apartment was spacious and comfortable, with a great living and dining area, a good TV setup, and heating that worked perfectly. Aman, the Guest Services Manager, was fantastic—he helped us out when we accidentally locked ourselves out and gave us some really helpful local tips. The complex features two swimming pools—one for children and a smaller heated one—as well as a great barbecue area. It’s just 50 metres from the beach and right across the road from a great local pub. The apartment had everything we needed and all the amenities you could ask for. If you're after budget-friendly accommodation with comfort, convenience, and a great location, this is the place to stay. We’d happily rate it 5 out of 5!

Stayed here for 11 nights recently with my 20 year old daughter. We were here to visit my son who is now living on the Sunshine Coast (and how lucky he is!) Room is exactly as advertised. Found it spotlessly clean and loved the very well stocked kitchen. Everything you could need, and plenty of glasses and coffee mugs etc. We were on the 3rd floor and had a lovely view across to the beach. Yes there are stairs, you may puff a bit on the way up! But considering the amazing eateries around I was glad enough of the exercise!! Don’t let the stairs put you off if you are young enough and able.. The hosts, and in particular Jo were helpful when needed, nothing was a problem. Lovely pool and gardens. Go and have a family game of ping pong after dinner. Highly recommend and will be back again.
