Looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, black mould in both air conditioners, filthy bathrooms , dirty old and tired. As for trying to get your bond back, good luck with that despite leaving the unit cleaner that when we went.

I accidentally booked 2 properties for the same travel time for work purposes.I needed to cancel this booking for 10 days at 5k and was told no by the manager. I spoke with the reception and explained my situation, I had 2 separate tabs open for the same dates for different properties, I had clicked reserve on both, but DID NOT put in payment details on this property, I paid on the tab for an alternative property that was more suitable, I did not realise this would mean the other booking with the Astor apartments was finalised as well. I explained that this was an error, and asked repeatedly to have this cancelled as was booked with a work credit card (not even my own personal card). They refused to cancel. I was happy to pay for a few nights, but it seems completely unreasonable to have an apartment paid for 10 days sit empty, when they could refund me at least partially and understand this was an error. I will NEVER EVER EVER book with this place - even if it means sleeping on the street as an alternative. $5000 gone to waste because they can't make an exception for someone who has made a genuine error. Not through not needing the accomodation anymore, this was a technical error through the website I used to book. Can't get hold of anyone from the site to dispute. These people are COMPLETELY UNREASONABLE. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL.
