Kangaroo Point Holiday Apartments

We booked this property because it offered free undercover parking for two vehicles and was in a good location to access the ferry to get to QPAC to a show there. However on arrival we were astounded at the appearance of the property. Very run down and dirty looking. The walkways were very dirty and quite an unpleasant smell too. The apartment itself was quite a pleasant surprise. It was roomy and comfortable, however the cleanliness here was also average. Although other reviews had reported it to be noisy, we found it fairly quiet and got a good nights' sleep. Probably wont return as it certainly was not very inspiring but met our needs for the purpose intended.

The apartment was good sized, but dirty floors inside and on balcony. There was no shower mat for the wheelchair shower. From reception to apartment 29 was not safe as you go down a very steep garaging and pushing a wheelchair just was not safe. then it was down two zig zag ramps. not so bad but to go back to reception was a night mare when it came to getting wheelchair up steep garage, the first time i did this 2 other people were around who helped but when i had to do it i had to pull wheelchair up backwards. Not so good for someone getting to the older age bracket. Reception was not helpful at all as i wanted a wake up call but they wouldnt do it as reception was not manned all night. we were given a alarms clock. Not wheelchair friendly at all. Wifi wasnt offered. I asked for it on the afternoon of our arrival

Booked the one bedroom apartment during our stay in Brisbane. The apartment was fully equipped with all the amenities stated in the website. The room was a bit too cold (winter), hence a carpeted flooring or providing us with in-house slippers would be great. The location was good - 5 minutes walk away from the main bus stop (Woolloongong Station), making travelling to the town area more convenient. However, it was located on a slope so you'll have to climb a bit of slope to get to and fro the bus station, otherwise, you can Uber. Overall, the apartment and the vicinity were clean and the bed was comfortable too!
