I traveled for business and requested a high up room, staff were accomodating. Checking in was easy, friendly reception. I do think this hotel needs a refurbish to still be considered five star and the rooms are expensive. It’s not a bad hotel but doesn’t compare to ones like the Hilton etc. Still a beautiful place to stay

I stayed for three nights while attending a conference and was very happy with the overall experience. Check‑in was excellent. The staff member who assisted me acknowledged my membership straight away and was genuinely friendly, which set a great tone for the stay. The room was spacious, comfortable, and included a coffee machine. There were no bar items, but this wasn’t an issue as King George Square and the nearby shopping precinct were only a five‑minute walk away. The location is a major advantage. Breakfast at Goldfinch was another highlight. The greeting staff were warm and welcoming, and when they realised I was a member, they immediately arranged a table for me despite how busy the morning rush was. The food selection was standard, but the standout here is the team — consistently friendly, attentive, and helpful. I’d happily stay here again on my next visit to Brisbane.
