We booked 2 nights (11th-13th July) at The Sebel and we were so confident that the trip would go ahead, we did not take the free cancellation offer. Unfortunately, my wife injured her ankle in a fall at home and we had to cancel the hotel stay. I wrote a note to the hotel explaining the cancellation and got a lovely response from Hannah, the Front Office Manager, who approved a full refund. Safe to say in this day of chasing profits, my respect for her and the hotel have increased a hundredfold. We will visit Brisbane again and it is guaranteed that we will spend our nights at The Sebel. Well done!!

Our stay at the Sebel Brisbane was excellent, including being upgraded to a better room. My complaint is with the free water they provide. We live in Australia, and we have beautiful water here which is easily accessible and cheap. So why, in this hotel (and maybe others) are they providing sneaky cartons of "Queensland Still Water" imported from Italy? Other than TA, I don't know who to have this gripe with!

All in all a good option for a stay in central Brisbane. A good location, with a fast and friendly check in, WiFi is good and the one bedroom apartment was a good size. Breakfast was served in the adjoining bar with a set menu, disappointing that no fruit, cereal or yogurt was available. Gym is very small
